I very nearly botched this mission. Space bombs are very slow and not very accurate, so you do have to get in close and personal to ensure they hit the target. Not easy when said target is a capital-class ship firing its laser banks at you. The mission requires you to take out the freighter's shields, then use ion cannons to disable it so that it can be boarded and captured. While that's happening, engage the T-Wings and stay away from the corvettes.
