A minute’s silence was observed at Brussels’ Grand Place on March 22, one year on from a series of bombings in the city which left 32 people dead and hundreds wounded.

On the morning of March 22, 2016, two explosions ripped through Brussels’ main airport, with a third on a metro train in the city.
