I have been training with Jay Hayes since he and I were both white belts. I remember that even when he was a blue belt, he was a great competitor who had the extraordinary ability to learn, apply, and communicate the ever-evolving techniques and strategies of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Today, I can say in all honesty that hes the best instructor Ive trained with. This is not only due to his ability to teach and reinforce strong basics, but also to his teaching of sound tactics.
