WB village to boycott polls due to absence of electricity

Purulia (West Bengal), Mar 25 (ANI): Residents of a Naxal-affected village in West Bengal are planning to boycott the upcoming elections amid anguish over absence of electricity in the village. A villager from Asanpani reflected his anguish, saying that they are planning to boycott the elections. Several houses of Bandwan, Baghmundi and Balarampur blocks in West Benga’s Purulia district live at the risk of wild animals, besides facing other problems due to the lack of electricity in the poll-bound state.
