Ne sheshin e Namazgjase do te marre jete ndertimi i xhamise me te madhe ne vend, pas 22 vitesh pritje per komunitetin mysliman. Ne ceremoninë e inaugurimit te nisjes se punimeve per kete projekt madhor, kreu i komunitetit Selim Muça, kryeministri Berisha dhe kryebashkiaku Basha nënshkruan nje marreveshje per t'i dhene udhe nisjes se ndertimit. Per kreun i myslimaneve kjo dite eshte historike, ndërsa per kryeministrin Berisha ky 20 prill shënon ndarjen nga qendrimet paragjykuese te ateizmit. Projekti i xhamise mban firmen e nje studioje arkitekture turke, nder me te njohurat ne ndërtimin e ketyre objekteve te kultit. Ajo do te vendoset mbi nje sipërfaqe prej 3500 metrash katror dhe perbehet nga kater minaret. Pas inaugurimit per nisjen e punimeve kete te shtune, qe perkon edhe me ditëlindjen e profetit Muhamet, ndërtimi i xhamisë parashikohet te zgjase rreth 5 vjet.
