Gjate një operacioni ne kuadër te trafikut te paligjshmen te veprave te artit, blutë e qytetit bregdetar, kane kryer nje kontroll ne banesën e Abazit, duke sekuestruar disa qypa, blloqe gurësh e kolona antike mermeri.

Edjon Abazi u ndalu te enjten, teksa po tentonte te kalonte kufirin me nje sasi veprash te ndryshme arti, ndërsa këtë te premte ne banesën e tij ne Durrës u sekuestruan 16 qypa mesjetare te madhësive te ndryshme, 11 kolona mermeri dhe 1 prej graniti. Nder te tjera, policia e Durrësit deklaron se mes objekteve ka edhe 29 cope amfora e fragmente si dhe 25 blloqe gurësh antike. Sipas policisë se Durrësit, po vijojnë hetimet mbi origjinën e këtyre veprave edhe pse dyshohet se ato janë te vjedhura dhe se Abazi merrej prej kohesh me trafikimin e tyre.
