Largimi i mundshëm i kompanisë se energjisë CEZ nga Shqipëria pritet te shoqërohet me efekte negative, ne disa drejtime. Eksperte te ekonomisë janë te mendimit se, kalimi i përkohshëm i administrimit te kompanisë nga shtetit do te stimuloje kulturën e mos pagesës e faturave, një problem ky, i cili prej vitesh nuk u arrit te zgjidhej edhe nga Cez-i. Ndërsa humbjet teknike ne rrjet, do te rriten me tej për shkak edhe te mungesës se investimeve. Edhe përfaqësues te maxhorances pohojne se largimi i CEZ është një kthim pas, ne problemet energjetike. Megjithatë ajo qe sugjerohet është një privatizim i menjëhershme i sistemit te shpërndarjes nga një tjetër kompani. Qeveria është ne negociata me kompaninë për gjetjen e një zgjidhje me sa me pak kosto, por duket se një vendim i tille nuk do te jete i lehte.
