Aksidentet përgjakin serish rrugët e vendit edhe këtë fundjave. Një aksident i rende me pasoje vdekjen e një personi ndodhi mbrëmë rreth orës 21:30 ne aksin Shkodër-Koplik, pranë fshatit Shtoj i Ri. Dy mjete janë përplasur me njëri-tjetrin njëri tip "Benz" dhe tjetri "Fuoristrade", me targa te Malësisë se Madhe. Për pasoje, ka humbur jetën shoferi i "Benzit", Bese Burgaj, me detyre polic ne piken doganore Hani i Hotit, ndërsa ka marre plage te lehta shoferi i "Fuoristrades", Isa Rama, me detyre kryetar i komunës Koplik Qendër. 40-vjeçari Burgaj ka ndërruar jete mëngjesin e sotëm ne sallën e reanimacionit ne spitalin e Shkodres teksa i ishte nënshtruar një ndërhyrjeje kirurgjikale. Dyshohet se shkak i aksidentit ka qene shpejtësia e mjeteve. Ndërkohë një tjetër person dyshohet se ka gjetur vdekjen pas një aksidenti ne unazën e autostradës ne Lushnjë. Kufoma është e një mashkulli rreth 40 vjeç dhe është gjetur ne orët e para te mëngjesit te se dielës nga kalimtare te rastësishëm. Policia dyshon se personi është goditur nga ndonjë automjet gjate natës dhe nuk ka marre as ndihmën e pare.
