Pas 8 vjetësh punime, kompleksi i katedrales se re ortodokse ne Tirane ka hapur dyert këtë te diele. Me një sipërfaqe te truallit rreth 5 mije metra katror, ndërsa te vete kishës 1660 metra katror, ky përurim përkoi edhe me 20-vjetorin e Anastas Janullatos, si Kryepeshkop ne Shqipëri. Qindra besimtare kane ndjekur meshën e organizuar enkas për hapjen e kompleksit, ceremoni ne te cilën ishin te pranishëm edhe kreu i shtetit, Bamir Topi, kryetarja e Kuvendit, Jozefina Topalli, kreu i opozitës, Edi Rama, ambasadore e drejtues te partive minoritare greke ne vend. Katedralja "Ngjallja e Krishtit", një investim miliona euro, ka mahnitur jo vetëm besimtaret te cilët e konsideruan te nevojshme, por edhe kureshtaret ne ditën e përurimit. Kompleksi, përveç punimeve te shumta ne mermer, ndahet ne disa pjese. Ne qoshen veriperëndimore ndodhet kisheza kushtuar lindjes se Krishtit, me pas ne anën lindore gjendet selia e sinodit te shenjte, ndërsa brenda ambienteve ka një qendër kulturore dhe konferencash, amfiteatër dhe librari. Kambanorja është një tjetër element i veçante i katedrales, me 46 metra lartësi, ne te cilën janë vendosur 16 kambana e mbi to një ore katërfaqëshe.

After 8 years of work, the new compound Orthodox Cathedral in Tirana has opened its doors this Sunday. With a land area of about 5 thousand square meters, while the church's own 1660 square meters, this inauguration coincided with the 20th anniversary of Dr Anastasios of Tirana, as Archbishop in Albania. Hundreds of faithful who attended the mass organized specially for the opening of the complex, in which ceremonies were attended by the head of state, Bamir Topi, Speaker of Parliament, Josefina Topalli, opposition leader Edi Rama, the ambassador of the Greek minority party leaders in instead. Cathedral "The Resurrection of Christ", an investment of millions of euros, has fascinated not only believers who considered it necessary, but staring at the day of inauguration. Complex, besides many works in marble, is divided into several parts. Ancient church in the northwest corner is dedicated to the birth of Christ, then to the east side is the seat of the Holy Synod, while inside the premises has a cultural and conference center, amphitheater and library. Belfry is another feature of the cathedral, with 46 meters height, on which are placed on the bell 16 to an hour katërfaqëshe.
