Ish-pronarët kundërshtojnë ndryshimet e bëra së fundmi në ligjin e pronave. Sipas kryetarit të shoqatës "Pronësi dhe Drejtësi", Agim Toro, ky ligj shpreh hapur konflikt interesi, pas i lë në dorë qeverisë që të vendosë se sa janë çmimet e tregut. Madje edhe sikur çmimet te jene reale, ato mbeten të diskutueshme nëse vjen një forcë tjetër politike ne pushtet. Nga ana tjetër, ish-pronarët shprehen se qeveria nuk ka marrë mendimin e tyre në hartimin e ligjit, edhe pse ky ka qenë rekomandim i Bashkimit Evropian. Ligji i ri për pronat kaloi ne Komisionin e Ekonomisë vetëm me votat e mazhorancës dhe shtyu afatin për zgjidhjen e kësaj çështjeje deri në prill të 2014-ës. Opozita e kundërshtoi draftin me arsyetimin se përbën konflikt interesi në momentin që qeveria e cila do të japë paratë për kompensim, do të miratojë edhe vlerën e pronës.
