Pas progres raportit te Bashkimit Evropian edhe organizata "Transparency International" ngre shqetësimin se lufta kundër korrupsionit ne Shqipëri ka shënuar regres. Ky fakt është bere i ditur nga raporti me i fundit i kësaj organizate qe ka publikuar indeksin për korrupsionin për 182 shtete te botes. Ne këtë dokument, Shqipëria renditet ne vendin e 95 me 3.1 pike, 8 vende me poshtë se klasifikimi i një viti me pare. Vendi ynë është shteti i parafundit nder radhët e vendeve te Ballkanit, duke lënë pas vetëm Kosovën, ne vendin e 112 me 2.9 pike. Përpara nesh ne progresin për luftën kundër korrupsionit është renditur edhe Bosnja ne vendin e 91, Serbia ne te 86, Greqia ne te 80, Rumania ne te 75 ndërsa Maqedonia ne te 69. Për te publikuar këtë liste, "Trasparency International" ka monitoruar progresin e 182 shteteve për reformat ne sistemin e drejtësisë, si dhe angazhimin e qeverive për te luftuar korrupsionin. Vendin e pare ne dokument e mban Zelanda e Re. Ndërkohë ka reaguar edhe kryesocialisti Edi Rama ne rrjetin e e tij social ne "Twitter" duke deklaruar: "Shqipëria pikiate ne renditjen e 'Transparency International'. Vendi me i korruptuar i Evropës. Emergjence për një Rilindje Shqiptare!"
