Shqipëria është vendi me nivelin me te larte te borxhit ne rajon, e si pasoje, si i gjithë rajoni, rrezikon ulje te rritjes ekonomike.
Ky fakt është bere publik nga Banka Botërore gjate prezantimit te një raporti për zhvillimet ekonomike ne Evropën Juglindore. Madje, sipas raportit, vendi ynë është shume pranë zonës se riskut. Aktualisht borxhi publik i Shqipërisë llogaritet 59. 6 %, ndërsa deficiti buxhetor në fund të muajit tetor 2011, është rreth 4 %. Numri i parë i raportit u bë publik sot paradite nëpërmjet një video konference në zyrat e Bankës Botërore, në Tiranë. Situata ekonomike nuk duket optimiste ne te gjithë Ballkanin perëndimor. Bankat, edhe pse kane baza kapitale te shëndosha, rrezikohen seriozisht nga kreditë e këqija. Për këtë arsye rajoni, e Shqipëria si pjese e tij, këshillohet te zbatoje politika fiskale te kujdesshme. Në raportin e Bankës Botërore thuhet se që gjatë vitit 2011 rritja ekonomike në rajon është 2.5 për qind ndërsa për vitin 2012 kjo rritje do të ulet në 2.1 për qind.

This fact was made public by the World Bank during the presentation of a report on economic developments in Eastern Europe. Furthermore, according to the report, our country is more risk zone nearby. Albania's public debt is currently estimated at 59. 6%, while the budget deficit at the end of October 2011, is about 4%. The first report was made public this morning via a video conference at the World Bank office in Tirana. The economic situation does not seem optimistic in the western Balkans. Banks, even though they sound capital base, seriously threatened by bad loans. For this reason the region of Albania as part of it, it is advisable to implement prudent fiscal policies. In World Bank report said that during 2011 the economic growth in the region is 2.5 percent whereas in 2012 this growth will drop to 2.1 percent.
