In what can be best described as a case of deja vu, we find ourselves playing Tele-X for the fourth time after having just played the third rendition. This is definitely not what I was hoping for.
This level is identical to the last level we played with the exact same name beyond texturing. The textures happen to be the same one used as Flooded Tele-X! Great for people that loved Tele-X Quake! but hated the difference in texturing!
There isn't much that can be said this time around that wasn't already said in the last video. This is a level that didn't need to exist. Even if it did exist, it didn't need to be included with Aftershock. I feel like I am back in Q2 with this level of redundancy.
I just talked about having enough of these levels, then they throw me a near identical version. This is what I get for trying new levels. The Readme suggests that this level features textures from idBase, though because this is most likely an Aftershock retexturing we instead just see a rotation of the textures. The inner walls of the last one are the Teleporters of this one. The outer walls of this one is the floor of this one.
Overall, play this level and not the other three renditions if you don't like Water and prefer Grenade Launchers to Thunderbolts, but also hated the texture changes made in the other level without Water, desiring instead textures like those seen in Flooded Tele-X!
