After Altar of Pain, I feel pretty motivated to continue and see new sights. What amazing levels are out there, what new challenges could I discover? How about yet another rendition of Flooded Tele-X! Oh, but don't worry, this isn't Flooded Tele-X! This is Tele-X Quake...

Being given no text file, I am not able to clarify if this level was made by Dalias, though it was most likely another rendition designed by him. If I had to describe this level, I would say that it is more similar to the original Flooded Tele-X! (which I have called Water) to the later one (which I have called Air).

Differences from Flooded Tele-X (Water) are very few. Texturing is almost entirely different, I prefer the Teleporter texturing as it is a lot more visible than the previous rendition. As the title would suggest, this level is not flooded like the other two were, meaning there is no Water in the level and thus it is the closest we have seen to the original version from Doom. Instead of a Thunderbolt in the middle of the map, we instead have a Grenade Launcher.

When I can explain every difference between this level and another rendition in a single paragraph, that is pretty sad. I don't honestly get the rationale for all these Tele-X! levels or Aftershock's apparent obsession with them.

The Grenade Launcher can be somewhat useful in this rendition, being able to drop to the lower floors and spam opponents. Unlike the Thunderbolt version, there is plenty of Ammo for the Grenade Launcher, plus less risk in its usage. The removal of Water means that the Grenades have more of a bounce and can possibly be more lethal. In a way, I think this is the best version we have seen as you cannot control the entire level with a single weapon. The platforms and straightaways are still dominated with a Rocket Launcher, but high-low level combat would be dominated by the Grenade Launcher.

Overall, play this version of Tele-X if you hate Water or prefer Grenade Launchers to Thunderbolts. This level also has a much better balance than previous levels due to the usage of a different weapon in the middle of the map that just happens to have a better supply of Ammo, though I do not know if this was intentional or not. Play this version, forget the other two versions, or possibly just forget about all three due to these levels being rather boring. I was never a fan of these one-room maps, so getting yet another rendition of one of these is pretty uninteresting at best.
