Sangue Novo (New Blood) participant Olga Noronha finds inspiration for Summer 2015 in the wonder, awe and beauty of the aurora borealis. To replicate the mysterious illumination found only in the polar skies, Noronha starts out with a pure white backdrop, then embeds her fabric with LED lights and fiber optics. Glowing points of light contour the body creating an overall lightness, fluidity of movement and surprising sense of levitation.
During the portuguese fashion week in Lisbon we can attend to the official "défilés" but also discover or review young fashion designers. These young fashion talents/designers are promoted through the "sangue novo" platform that gives them the chance to unveil (for some of them and for the first time) their collections.
