A Playthrough of the FreeSpace 2 Modification Luyten Civil War released by TopAce in 2012 on Insane Difficulty by Novachen.

Years after the capella incident all surviving inhabitants of capella found a new home in different GTVA systems. One of the systems is Luyten in which the situation get worse after the gouvernment begins to blame GTVA for their bad situation.
Another modification released in 2012 played by me :-). In this modification there are some missions which are different if you fly a bomber. I play and record both versions. This is the fighter version of the mission.
Hints:
Right after the Beginning, use your Tornados to destroy one of the enemy Hercules and then shut down the Mjolnirs, your wingmates should be capable to kill the three others.
Ignore all incoming enemies until you deactivated the Defensive perimeter completely.
The destruction of the GTF Ezechiel wing is a Bonus objecitve, they can be very tough enemies at Insane, so try to intercept some of them before they reach the GTC Protector and before they are try to kill you. And they will also jump out when the Washington arrives.
You can get a special debriefing stage if you are able to keep all your wingmates alive, this can be hard sometimes, and it is also a matter of luck. Kill all enemies quickly as possible and prioritize them which are firing upon your allies.
If you play with a difficult setting lesser than "Hard", you will have more time to deactivate the Mjolnirs.
