A Playthrough of the FreeSpace 2 Modification Luyten Civil War released by TopAce in 2012 on Insane Difficulty by Novachen.

Years after the capella incident all surviving inhabitants of capella found a new home in different GTVA systems. One of the systems is Luyten in which the situation get worse after the gouvernment begins to blame GTVA for their bad situation.
Another modification released in 2012 played by me :-). In this modification there are some missions which are different if you fly a bomber. I play and record both versions. This is the bomber version of the mission.
Hints:
Your wingmates should be equipped with GTF Hercules Mark II and good primaries, Subachs and Prometheus S' are a good choice, but the Circe/Prometheus S combination works well, also.
The main difference in this version is, that you will actually attack and destroy the GTC Protector aswell the GTCv Interloper yourself. Destroy the Interloper's engine to prevent its escape at all costs, its engines should not withstand very long against Cyclops impacts.
You can get a special debriefing stage if you are able to keep all your wingmates alive, because you have lesser fighter wings in this version, this task is easier here. Do not order to cover you or to attack the Corvette. Keep them away from the GTCv Interloper, like with a protection order for one of the Mjolnirs, and they should be safe. Even there are lesser fighter wings than in the other version, do not underestimate the wing of GTF Ezechiels, they are very fast, manoeuvrable and deadly for you and your wingmates.
Next to the time bonus for deactivation the Mjolnirs on lesser difficult settings you have additional time for this task as a bomber pilot.
