A stuntman on the set of 'Fury', a World War II film starring Brad Pitt, was accidentally stabbed with a bayonet during a choreographed fight scene yesterday. Then a week ago, yet another cast member, Shia LaBeouf, got kicked in the crown jewels during a night out in London.
The 35-year-old stuntman was performing during the shoot in Oxfordshire and clearly they were using weapons sharp enough to cut through flesh. He took a hit in the shoulder, which probably brought the production to a screeching halt, at least for a little bit. Reports say the stuntman was laughing and talking while leaving the set (yes, stuntmen really ARE THAT bad ass) and though it is believed that his wounds are not serious, they airlifted him to a nearby hospital. (How Hollywood!)
Just a week earlier, another member of the masculine cast took a hit, but in a slightly more sensitive place. Shia LaBeouf was out and among 'em in London one night and he saw to girls yakking it up. Literally. They were puking in the street, so, class guy that he is, he took out his phone and starting recording them. The gals asked him to remove himself from the scene, but he didn't listen. Then another guy got into the picture and told him to beat it. He still wouldn't, so the guy beat him. Like clocked him in the face. Then he kicked him in the nads. (And let's face it, he had it coming! I mean who does that?! Who the hell gets chicks vomiting on camera? And what would he possibly do with this footage? Go X-Pro II on that shiz and IG it?!)
In any case, he got his. Then the girls said that they wished they knew who he was at the time, because they would have let him continue his cinematic moment. (Stay classy, ladettes.) One of the girls said she has a über-crush on him.
