U.S.Secretary of State John Kerry on Monday (September 9) arrived for a meeting with British Foreign Secretary William Hague at the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
It is expected that Kerry will continue his quest to secure support for military action against Syria in talks with Hague. Kerry is on a whirlwind diplomatic push in Europe as U.S. president Barack Obama prepares to mount a concentrated attempt to persuade a skeptical Congress to back him.
Obama will address the U.S. Tuesday night, the eve of the first Senate vote on a "limited and specific" intervention by US forces.
