Glory "The Grapes Of Rathe" 1969 Rare US Private Pop Phych.

Apparently, this album is a lot rarer than I realised. I was even contacted by the owner of Shadoks Records to burn him a copy for possible reissue. I guess he didn't think much more of it than I do, because he used everything else I sent him but not this one. It does get routinely snubbed by most reviewers that have heard it. Shame, because it's actually a good record, just not great. It features an unimpressive mix of semi-commercial pop rock and pop/psych. I always thought they were from Texas, because I thought I detected a distinct element of that area's sound in their mat'l. But the Acid Archives claims they're from PA., for whatever that's worth. Originally issued on Taurus records.
