The two-day nationwide bandh has disrupted normal life across the country but the bandh turned ugly in Noida. A trade union leader died after being hit by a bus he was trying to stop from plying as part of strike called by central trade unions, sparking tension in the district where authorities have imposed prohibitory orders. After the incident, other assembled workers resorted to violence damaging vehicles belonging to the Ambala's Deputy Commissioner of Police and SHO of the Baldev police station area, police said.
