Section 144 has been imposed in Gautam Budhnagar amidst the farmer movement on the Delhi border. The Gautam Buddha Nagar administration has implemented Section 144 citing the Corona epidemic, which will remain in force till January 2, 2021. During this time no procession can be taken in Noida without permission and no one will be able to jam the wheel. This decision of the district administration has come at a time when farmers are agitating on the Delhi border and they have called for a Bharat Bandh on 8 December.

दिल्ली बॉर्डर पर किसान आंदोलन के बीच गौतम बुद्धनगर में धारा 144 लागू कर दी गई है. गौतमबुद्ध नगर प्रशासन ने कोरोना महामारी का हवाला देते हुए धारा 144 लागू की है, जो दो जनवरी 2021 तक लागू रहेगी. इस दौरान नोएडा में बिना इजाजत के जुलूस नहीं निकाला जा सकता है और न कोई चक्का जाम कर सकेगा. जिला प्रशासन का यह फैसला ऐसे समय सामने आया है जब दिल्ली बॉर्डर पर किसान आंदोलन कर रहे हैं और उन्होंने 8 दिसंबर को भारत बंद का आह्वान किया है.
