Riverview Fire responded to a fire behind a garage on Beverly Cres. just after 3:35 P.M. this afternoon. Firefighters had to deal with deep snow as they got to the rear of the building. Fire burnt the rear of the garage and was burning inside and Firefighters had to be careful because the roof was rotted out the homeowner told them, as Firefighters dealt with fire in the ceiling. Paramedics were on stand by,nobody was injured. . Firefighters had the fire under control quickly.. Codiac R.C.M.P. also attended the fire scene.
