Riverview Fire responded to a Garage Fire around 12:30 P.M. Once on scene Codiac RCMP were notified to block off both ends of Sussex Ave. Firefighters cut the door with a chain saw, to gain access to the garage, nobody was home at the time , but later arrived on scene. N.B.Power was also needed , because Firefighters had to rip out part of a wall. Firefighters got the fire beat down quickly and saved the garage from further damage. Police moved back some onlookers for their safety. Smoke could be seen from a few blocks away in Riverview.
