Final preparations are underway in Guatemala for Sunday's Presidential elections, in which nearly a dozen candidates are vying for the top position.

The range of challenges facing the next president is daunting, and unless the next government can confront them, central america's most populated country could inch closer to becoming what some already describe as a 'failed State'.
