Hashim Kudher Mohammed, a 55-year-old supermarket owner in Baghdad, Iraq, reflects on the effects of the attacks of September 11, 2001, on the United States, in an interview with Al Jazeera.

"I would consider this incident as the beginning of the world's downfall... because this was the only bridge for them by managing to get to Iraq and eastern Asia... meaning they had the sufficient argument so the members of the Security Council could not stop America for having it damaged by the incident.
