Although this violinist and bandleader recorded over 30 sides in the second half of the 1920s, he seems to be totally forgotten and hardly any information is to be found about him. Most of his recordings were made for Gennett but this one was waxed on a long-playing Edison disc, hence offering a lot of interesting solo work. Although the copy is a little worn, I definitely wanted to share this very fine performance.The vocal is by Jack Davis.
