Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game console review of the TurboGrafx-16 and TurboGrafx-CD add-on. Released in Japan in 1987 as the PC Engine, and in North America in 1989, the TurboGrafx-16 was developed by NEC and Hudson Soft and had an 8-bit CPU and 16-bit GPU. While it lacked the development support and popularity of competing systems like the Sega Genesis and the Super Nintendo, there are still plenty of great classic games that have come out for the console, like Bonk's Adventure, Ys, Splatterhouse, and plenty more. This video game console review demonstrates the uses and features of the TurboGrafx-16 and TurboGrafx-CD add-on with commentary from CGRundertow reviewer Kevin.
