California is in fiscal crisis and Governor Schwarzenegger has a radical plan to balance the budget by slashing government spending.

Fault Lines speaks to Brenda Barragan, a 24-year-old history teacher who was recently laid-off. She's a casualty of California's cuts to its education budget. In protest, Barragan, went on hunger strike.

"Its just immoral to do this to students who need the most help," she says.
