A four-month protest economic injustice outside one of the British capital's most famous landmarks has been broken up by police.

Officers and bailiffs moved in overnight to clear the Occupy London camp at St Paul's Cathedral after a court ruled that demonstrators could be evicted.

Twenty people were arrested, but some activists said they would stay put.
