In a new development in the case of Mohammed al Dura, the Palestinian boy killed in the midst of a gunbattle between IDF soldiers and Palestinian gunmen in Gaza,  the French television station  France 2 was asked by the French court to release the entire 27 minute of film cuts, that were severed from the original footage filmed at the scene.No case of media manipulation during the Second Intifada is more prominent than that of Mohammed al Dura.  Despite the abundance of evidence that IDF troops did not shoot the boy, the case has remained the lynchpin in Palestinian anti-Israeli propaganda and in anti-Israeli and anti-Semitic demonstrations worldwide, and has even been cited by suicide bombers as a factor
