Former IDF Chief of Staff Moshe Yaalon announced on Monday his intentions to run for the Knesset in the Likud party. Ya'alon had been contemplating for weeks whether to enter politics or remain in his current position as a senior distinguished  fellow at the Shalem Center's Adelson Institute for Strategic Studies in Jerusalem. 11/18/08
