Palestinian sources say Prime Minister Olmert and Chairman Abbas, in their Monday meeting in Jericho, will try to reach understandings ahead of a final settlement.  Such an agreement is to be the base for talks at the international peace conference which will convene in fall in the US.  Abbas' aides say he will ask Olmert for additional gestures, including the release of prisoners and the facilitation of movement of Palestinians betwen the West Bank and Gaza.  08/05/07
