Israeli and Palestinian officials are set to give a rare joint briefing on the state of peace talks at a Mideast summit in Egypt next week. While Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni will be leading Israel's delegation, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and his chief negotiator, Ahmed Qureia, will be heading the Palestinian side. Israeli and Palestinian officials said that the two leaders will brief the Quartet representatives on their progress in the peace process after nearly a year of peace negotiations. 11/03/08
