Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni said Thursday that the creation of a Palestinian state would serve as a solution to the Israeli Arabs' national problem. Livni said that when a Palestinian state is created, she would will be able tell Israels Palestinian citizens, who are now referred to as Israeli Arabs, that they are Israeli citizens with equal rights, but that their national solution is in another place. Livni added that her path to a democratic state is the establishment of two states for two peoples. 12/11/08
