Ever since the Election Commission ordered the statues of Mayawati and her party symbol, the elephants, to be covered up in Uttar Pradesh ahead of the polls, there's been a growing debate over whether the order makes any sense. The commission clearly feels it needs to be done to ensure a free and fair election while others say it's not practical. Today, officials in UP struggled to implement the order and they have a truly elephantine task!
