Negotiations on consolidating the US-backed truce in the war in Gaza are at a "critical moment,” said Qatar's Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani at the Doha Forum on Saturday (Dec 6).

Leaders from Turkiye and Egypt also said a lot needed to be ironed out to move forward the peace plan forward into the next phase.

Qatar, Turkiye, Egypt and the United States signed the pact in October, backed by many more nations to ensure peace in Gaza and the Middle East.
