మొంథా తుపాను ప్రభావంతో కురుస్తున్న వర్షాలతో కృష్ణా నదికి వరద పెరుగుతోంది. ప్రస్తుతం ప్రకాశం బ్యారేజీ వద్ద ఇన్‌ఫ్లో, ఔట్‌ ఫ్లో 2.74 లక్షల క్యూసెక్కులుగా ఉన్నట్లు పేర్కొన్నారు. ఇన్‌ ఫ్లో 5 లక్షల క్యూసెక్కుల వరకు చేరే అవకాశముందని.. ఆ తర్వాత క్రమంగా తగ్గే అవకాశముందని చెప్పారు. లంక గ్రామాల ప్రజలు జాగ్రత్తలు తీసుకోవాలని.. లోతట్టు ప్రాంతాల ప్రజలు అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండాలని సూచించారు. నదిలో ప్రయాణం, ఈతకు వెళ్లడం, చేపలు పట్టడం వంటివి చేయొద్దని అధికారులు పేర్కొన్నారు.


The Krishna River is swelling due to continuous rainfall triggered by Cyclone Montha. At Prakasam Barrage, inflow and outflow currently stand at 2.74 lakh cusecs, and officials expect levels to touch 5 lakh cusecs soon.

⚠️ Residents in Lanka and low-lying areas are being warned to stay alert. Authorities have restricted river travel, swimming, and fishing activities.
