Global Sumud Flotilla boats depart Tunisia to deliver aid to Gaza

Three boats belonging to the international aid initiative, Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) set sail from Tunisia’s Bizerte port on Saturday (September 13) to deliver vital supplies to Gaza and break Israel's naval blockade.

Activists aboard a vessel called Marinette waved as they sailed off. Another set of activists carried the flag of Algeria and the flag of Poland as they departed.

Organizers said more boats are expected to depart from Tunisia, with the delay attributed to poor weather and logistical challenges.
