पंत को नीलामी से पहले दिल्ली कैपिटल्स की टीम ने रिलीज किया था। उन पर बड़ी बोली लगनी तय थी और ऐसा ही हुआ भी। लखनऊ सुपर जाएंट्स की टीम ने पंत को 27 करोड़ रुपये में खरीदा। 2016 के बाद पहली बार पंत दिल्ली के अलावा किसी और टीम से खेलते दिखेंगे। पंत हाल फिलहाल में शानदार फॉर्म में रहे हैं। उन्होंने पिछले साल कार दुर्घटना के बाद वापसी करते हुए खूब रन बनाए थे।

Lucknow Super Giants team bought Pant for Rs 27 crore.For the first time since 2016, Pant will be seen playing for a team other than Delhi. Pant has been in excellent form recently.
