103-year-old Holocaust survivor honored by Berlin's Jewish Museum
Margot Friedländer, a 103-year-old survivor of the Holocaust, and Delphine Horvilleur, a rabbi and writer, were awarded the Berlin Jewish Museum's Prize for Understanding and Tolerance on Saturday. The German museum says the prize, which was first awarded in 2002, recognizes individuals working in culture, politics, and business who have made an outstanding contribution to the protection of human dignity, to cross-cultural understanding, to the integration of minorities, and the coexistence of different religions and cultures.
