Yemen's Houthis claim they shot down US MQ-9 drone

Yemen's Houthis released a video on Monday, September 30, which they claims shows the moment they shot down a US MQ-9 drone.

Reuters was not able to independently verify the location and date when the video was filmed.

Unverified video shared by Houthi Military Media showed an object burning in the night sky and machine debris scattered on the ground.

Monday saw fear of wider conflict in the Middle East rise further, as Israel hinted at a ground attack into Lebanon.
