Influencer Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan were detained overnight on Wednesday (Aug 21) by Romanian authorities after investigators searched their properties in an investigation into crimes including human trafficking and sex with a minor.

A court hearing on Thursday (Aug 22) is expected to decide whether they will remain in preventative detention for 30 days or be placed under house arrest.
