सियाचिन ग्लेशियर में अपने सैनिक साथियों को बचाने में शहीद हुए कैप्टन अंशुमान सिंह के परिवार को उनके अदम्य साहस और बहादुरी के लिए 5 जुलाई 2024 को राष्ट्रपति ने कीर्ति चक्र से सम्मानित किया गया था. बता दें कि अब शहीद के माता-पिता का दुख सामने आया है. दरअसल शहीद की पत्नी स्मृति सिंह कीर्ति चक्र लेकर अपने साथ मायके चली गईं हैं.
