Many companies were more cautious in their Pride Month messaging this year due to the upcoming divisive presidential election and concerns over conservative backlash. Tractor Supply announced it would end all spending tied to diversity causes as it ceases to sponsor Pride festivals. Forty-five percent of Fortune 100 companies had Pride-related social media posts this year, down from 51% last year. Companies are taking a more "wait-and-see" approach or spreading LGBTQ+ initiatives throughout the year instead of just in June.
