Former NRL star Jarryd Hayne has walked free from prison on conditional bail after the court of criminal appeal quashed his sexual assault convictions. In a majority 2-1 decision the court upheld the appeal and ordered a new trial. A decision on what would be the fourth trial is now a matter for the state's director of public prosecutions.
