Former NRL player Jarryd Hayne has been jailed ahead of his sentencing for sexually assaulting a woman on grand final night in 2018. It comes after NSW Supreme Court Justice Richard Button revoked his bail, rejecting claims Hayne had “special or exceptional circumstances” to remain at liberty as his case carried out.
