An attorney representing passengers on Alaska Airlines Flight 1282, where a door plug panel blew off, has expanded the existing lawsuit against Boeing and the airline. The updated lawsuit claims passengers on a prior flight of the same aircraft heard a "whistling sound" from the door plug area. The sound was brought to a flight attendant, but no further action was taken. It alleges the pilots only checked cockpit instruments that "purportedly read normal" after being informed of the sound.
