Israel’s parliament has approved the first part of a controversial judicial overhaul pushed by Benjamin Netanyahu’s government that has sparked the country’s worst political crisis in years. The vote came after a stormy session in which opposition lawmakers chanted “shame” and then stormed out of the chamber.
