The third day of the Monsoon Session of Parliament saw yet another stormy start as the Opposition continued to corner the government on the Manipur issue. The recently formed INDIA alliance staged a protest on the Parliament premises, demanding Prime Minister Modi's statement on the Manipur issue in both the houses. Holding placards and banners that read “INDIA for Manipur” and “INDIA demands PM’s statement on Manipur”, the opposition parties raised slogans against the government in front of Mahatma Gandhi’s statue in Parliament complex.
